Cibes at Interlift 2025 – Key Insights from the Industry’s Leading Trade Fair

Interlift 2025 gathered the global lift and accessibility industry in Nürnberg, Germany, for four days of innovation, networking and new ideas. As one of the world’s leading trade fairs for lift technology, it offered valuable insight into where the market is heading and how Cibes continues to play a role in shaping it.

After almost ten years, Cibes once again joined Interlift to connect with industry professionals and showcase new developments in lift design and technology.

Interlift 2025 provided valuable insight into current and emerging trends across the lift and accessibility industry. Key developments included digitalisation, such as cybersecurity and AI-enhanced smart features; sustainability, with continued focus on energy efficiency and eco-friendly modernisation; and a shift towards predictive lift maintenance powered by smart sensors. Home lift innovation also continues to grow, with a strong emphasis on space-efficient design — an area closely aligned with Cibes’ commitment to accessibility and design-led solutions.

At the Cibes booth in Hall 4A, Stand C501, visitors were introduced to the Cibes Ascenda, a new through-floor lift not yet available on the European market. Feedback from visitors highlighted strong interest in its compact design and high-end finish.
