Sustainability
Sustainability is a key success factor
Cibes Lift Group is committed to reducing the environmental impact that our products and services have on the planet. We stand firm in our commitment to safety, ethical practices, environmental responsibility, and principles of the circular economy. We strive for innovation and continuous improvement to meet today’s challenges and future-proof our business.
Our sustainability strategy and targets are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement. We believe that sustainable, profitable growth is key to our present and future success.
Reducing our greenhouse gas emissions
We work towards transparent reporting of our greenhouse gas emissions in line with the guidelines from the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG), where we focus on identifying and addressing the major sources of emissions within our value chain. Through various initiatives, such as the installation of solar panels, transitioning to fossil-free vehicles, and increased recycling, we actively work to reduce our environmental impact.
Circularity
Product lifespan and waste management are essential components in our strategy for achieving a circular business model. Just as we strive to maximize the use of recycled materials in our products, responsible management of waste at the end of our products’ lifecycle is just as important.
Sustainability brochure
Our sustainability report covers all entities included in our consolidated financial statements. The report has been prepared in accordance with the core option of the Global Reporting Initiative Standards (GRI). Our sustainability brochure is an extract from that report and gives you a good overview of our sustainability work.
Diversity and inclusion
With the right mix of skills, experiences, and perspectives, we’re set to better develop the lift and elevator solutions of tomorrow. Diversity makes us strong, and inclusion makes us powerful.
Ethics and responsibility in our value chain
Cibes Lift Group relies on a global network of suppliers for components, services, and transportation. As we grow, the complexity of the supply chain increases, making it important to ensure human rights and environmental considerations at every stage.
