Cibes Lift Group wins the iF DESIGN AWARD 2025 in the Building Technology category
A testament to our innovation capabilities, Cibes Lift Group has been recognized for the outstanding product design for our through-the-floor lift.
The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the most prestigious design awards in the world. This year, the competition received close to 11,000 entries from over 60 countries. The jury of 131 independent experts from 23 countries select the winners based on five criteria: idea, form, function, differentiation, and sustainability.
Our through-the-floor lift, known as Ascenda in Asia and USA, won in the Product discipline under the Building Technology category.

The Ascenda through-the-floor lift is designed for two-story homes. It incorporates innovative screw-driven technology of Swedish quality and a fully-enclosed cabin. Its innovative top cover mechanism automatically closes over the shaft opening during descents, preventing accidental falls, especially for children and pets. User safety is further enhanced with its backup power supply and manual crank for controlled descents in emergency. Additionally, the integration of an intuitive handrail control and a fold-down seat guarantees not just ease of access but also supreme comfort for all users.
